I just got a Nikon D3100 for Christmas and I'm loving it so far. I don't know much about cameras yet though so I don't know how it holds up to other models. (And sorry for the weird first comment on your blog - I've been secretly following you ever since Laura posted to it - I've been through a lot of the same struggles you have and I'm really enjoying your perspective on things and what you have to say.) :)
